or, do you have symptoms with high blood pressure?
I was just recently told i had high blood pressure, never would of thought it, i even told the doctor, i feel fine…wow…silent killer huh? thats pretty scarey, i didnt know that….thanks…
If you have high b/p and it isn't kept in check with medications
you could suffer a stroke. I am sure if your Dr. told you that
you have high b/p he or she has put you on medication. I am a small person & don't have any problems that one can see, but I too have high b/p and it is kept in check with meds. Over a period of time high b/p can cause kidney damage, and other health problems. Please take good care of yourself!

High blood pressure or hypertension is called the "silent killer" because it often has no symptoms. Some people get tinnitus or ringing in the ears, or headache but that's not always the case. You need to get a succession of blood pressures at your Dr.s office or health dept. while standing, sitting, or lying down for them to determine if you have ^bp.

Eliminate all oils and fats, and especially as much salt from your diet as possible. Eat a good balanced diet to keep it under control. Uncontrolled, it can lead to heart trouble & strokes.
There are books in the library & bookstores which outline a good diet for hypertensives. My husband has that and later developed diabetes.
