What are the symptoms of high blood pressure? Do I Have High Blood Pressure?

i think i have it because first off every-time it seems like i get mad, sad, or happy my body feels HOT (im only 13)!!!!!!!!!!! it starting to happen a lot to my body even when the tempure of a room is cold or im not even moving that much to be putting up a sweat my body still feels HOT when these emotions come!! can someone please explain to me why! DETAIL please n thanks!

Usually high blood pressure does not have any symptoms and that is why it is referred to as the "silent killer." These symptoms are not consistent with high blood pressure. The most common symptoms of high blood pressure include headache, blurred vision and dizziness. Strong emotions can lead to the activation of the sympathetic nervous system ("fight or flight" system) which can lead to increased blood flow to the skin. This gives the sensation of feeling hot and flushing of the skin. This is a completely normal response and not a sign of a high blood pressure or any other condition. Thyroid disease can sometimes be associated with heat or cold intolerance, but this is unlikely in your case. High blood pressure is very easy to evaluate for by simply getting your blood pressure checked.

Well, one of the things that makes high blood pressure so dangerous is that it has NO symptoms, so although you get hot sometimes, it’s not necessarily because of having chronic high blood pressure, which is not impossible, but rather unlikely, at the age of 13.

Good luck!…
