Most of the time, there are no symptoms unless hypertension is severe or long-standing. . Symptoms that may occur include:
* Chest pain
* Confusion
* Ear noise or buzzing
* Irregular heartbeat
* Nosebleed
* Tiredness
* Vision changes
Hypertension can cause heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and changes in the retina causing blindness..
