I think the price might be at least forty-five dollars and you might be able to find what you’re looking for on ebay. I’m not a microwave expert like you are but I do know a few things about antique electronics.

Yeah if I’m not mistaking the size of the holes in the mesh of all microwave doors is carefully calculated. The size of the holes necessary to block out the microwaves depends on the operating frequency, which is around 2.45GHz, although some microwaves did operate on different frequencies, but they are rare.
Also the mesh has to have good electrical contact all around to properly shield the microwaves.

Ihugeboom, I have already tried that. It does not work. Microwaves leak out no matter how much I seal the mesh. I actaully took thus mesh screen and put it on a Kenmore and it did not work.
