I am tired of taking my blood pressure medication. I’ve had high blood pressure for 2 years now and have been taking medication everyday. I would really like an alternative to prescription medication does anybody know of anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Depending on how high your blood pressure is, you might be able to keep it down in normal range if you lose weight and exercise several times a week, and follow a low salt diet with dedication. You’d need to do that for the rest of your life, and even so, it may not be enough to keep the blood pressure normal. In some folks, it never is enough. There are no herbal or natural remedies that reliably keep blood pressure in check, if you develop high blood pressure. You can certainly stop taking the medications, but then you run the risks that represents. You will raise your risk for stroke, as well as heart and kidney problems. One pill a day seems a small enough price to pay for staying alive and healthy. But if you are willing to lose weight, exercise and stick to a low salt diet- you might be able to pull it off. It just depends on how highly motivated you are and how bad the situation is to start with.

well changing your diet and excersize routine is a lot harder than taking a pill, and your to lazy to take a pill. i say give up
