Headaches
Barring any other changes in your physical condition, you may start to feel some relief of symptoms in a day or two. The full effects of the medication should take place within 10 days to 2 weeks. After that, just because you are no longer feeling any ill effects from the high blood pressure do not stop taking the medication unless you check with your doctor. At this point you may want to purchase an automatic blood pressure monitor if possible. Either that or anytime you visit a pharmacy or one of the big box stores (Walmart, Publix, Walgreens, CVS etc.) use their free blood pressure machine if they have one. Keep track of your pressure between doctor visits. You did not provide any details about your physical state, but diet and exercise will go a long way to relieving your symptoms over the long term. Keeping your blood pressure under control is VERY IMPORTANT. Good luck to you.

hi!
typically any pill will start working within 24hrs to 48hrs, but you will feel the entire and full effects (meaning less headaches on a regular basis) from your pills in two weeks.
