High blood pressure with flu like symptoms?

Both me and my husband have terrible colds, aching muscles and awful coughs. I am 7 months pregnant and have perfect blood pressure (110/65) but my husband’s blood pressure is really high 182/118. Is this anything to worry about? I am going to keep an eye on it tonight but is it worth mentioning to the doctor?

Your husband’s BP is too high. The normal pulse pressure( the difference between the upper or systolic reading and the lower or diastolic reading) is generally 20. This is something you should have checked by a Dr. without delay. Pt. presenting with this type of hypertension are prone to strokes. There is obviously something elevating his BP other than a cold or flu. GET HIM CHECKED AT ONCE !!!!
Pulse pressure readings are measured in mm Hg ( mm of Mercury ) 64 mm Hg is or can be dangerously high.
