178/120 is way way high. Hope all goes well for Mike. Having to change the battery every year to a year and a half beats taken all that medication. Also I am sure down the road they will make the batteries that last 2-3 years. Excellent video. Keep us posted how Mike is doing.

Question for Mike: …
Question for Mike: Does high bp go with high anxiety?

Take it easy man. You can’t do much about all this except take the right decisions. I think you’re doing the right thing by chosing this operation, I hope you will be drug free soon.

I’ll be watching for updates.

Well, when I was …
Well, when I was sixteen I started working out a Sonic, a fastfood chain. I’m eighteen now, and after working at that dump, I don’t touch the stuff, I cook everything I eat. I guess I got it through my head, and the smell of the grease, its nasty. Although, I don’t have any medical history with my family, so I’ll just keep watch on my heath anyway. Just makes things easier. when I get older.

Excellent video! I …
Excellent video! I have lost 2 family members to high blood pressure. My blood pressure was also very high before I lost 70 lbs. My blood pressure is under control today but in many Americans and people around the world their blood pressures are not always about weight. Sounds to me in this video that new tools are coming out to help those in need where the medication is not helping or not helping as much as it should!!! 5 stars!

Oh yeah, I’ve been …
Oh yeah, I’ve been hearing about this.

There’s still a certain level of risk involved with this procedure and the device is relatively new. It’s quite scary to even think about it.

Hopefully this device wouldn’t have the reliability of typical European cars!! Just kidding!

Wish Mike the best …
Wish Mike the best with this. Not sure if it would interfere with meds, but Omega 3 fish oil with 300mg DHA & EPA as well as garlic, ginger and a drink or two of beer or wine a day are good natural ways to lower blood pressure and maintain heart health. Hopefully the battery or any other expense won’t be an issue but either way it’ll be worth it. And of course down the rd insurance or “the public option” will cover it ;)

Man, I can …
Man, I can sympathize with you, Mike! Needles and knives suck. I’m goin’ in for a liver ultrasound (due to unexplained elevated enzymes) in the morning. If there’s nothing weird inside, it’s all fine; if they see any abnormalities, then I may be looking at a biopsy. Oog. But that’s nothing like having my chest opened.

Good luck to you, Mike; hopefully this will not only help him, but the study will also help speed this useful new device to other patients. =^[.]^=

It is not a weight …
It is not a weight problem it is more related to genetics and stress reaction from what I understand. Mike I am happy for you I hope your not one of those who has the placiebo for 6 months. Anything that can get the pharmicutical chemicals out of your system is a good thing. I hope this all works out well for you. My prayers go out for you but I don’t actuctualy think you will need them. I think this is more of a answer to prayers.
Awsome 6 stars
I’ll be watching
