Does anyone know what the symptoms of high blood-pressure and swelling of the neck, legs, and arms.?

I am not sure which side is swelling is on. But this is for a male that is between the ages of 25-35. Please respond asap. Thank you!
I meant to say what do you think the problem is with him since he is having these symtoms… it is someone that does not live in the US. We are just trying to think of different things that it COULD be..

As I’m sure you know, high blood pressure, the "silent killer" often has no symptoms. The symptoms it does have are often symptoms of other things as well.

Sudden swelling in face, neck and arms.
Chronic swelling of face, neck and arms.
Headache in the front of the head.
Blurred vision.
Pain around the liver.
Fatigue.

Those are the common symptoms.

Side of swelling makes little difference.

there aren’t any symptoms of swelling; swelling it self IS a symptom.

for someone that young, none of that sounds good, could indicate a serious heart problem, or maybe an allergic reaction of some sort. He should be seen by a doctor asap.

Get thee to a doctor post haste. In other words, don’t wait on this. I’m really wanting to have you go to the emergency room and get this checked out ASAP.

Years ago, my grandmother had numbness in her left arm and leg and suffered from dizzy spells so I made an appointment and got her to the doctor and he said she had HBP. She was very close to having a stroke so he was concerned that she didn’t get in sooner. She told him she still wouldn’t be there if I hadn’t "made" her go :) I don’t remember her ever having the swelling so you need to get to a doctor and have a physical before you end up having a stroke or worse.
