Gene Vincent – High Blood Pressure

Great performance on the Town Hall Party. I guess this was recorded for TV, like the rest of the show, but I’ve never seen the video of Gene singing this song. Was it lost or something?

Cont…it to my …
Cont…it to my surprise, well it was a revelation and a chock at same time as I felt the earth trembled – it was “All Shook Up”! Also recall “Cadillac” (Vince Taylor) and that line “…brand new Cadillac…” I thought in my bad english immature brain that it was “…branjo new…” Hmmm…Branjo, well I made this to a Banjo (instrument) in that cadillac to make any sense at all. Hahahahaha Crazy man, crazy!

Cont…to my surprise, well it was almost a shock to me, it was “All Shook UP”! There you go. Also in “Cadillac” and that line “…brand new Cadillac…” -remember bad english – I thought the singer (Vince Taylor) sang “…branjo new…” Hmmmm…what did he mean…ok my childish ‘brain’ made it to that he sang about a Banjo (instrument) in that Cadillac. Hahahaha… CRAZY man crazy!

That is a fact of …
That is a fact of GREAT importance in this crazy world. I think the first ever song I heard was – still unborn – ‘Be Bop A Lula’ thought coming to this world, well years later thought it was sung/titled ‘Be Bop A Luba’….yeaaa, LUBA, remember I could no english at that time…BTW what the heck have english to do with Lula or Luba? You hear what you wanna hear. Rememer als my crazy cousin always was mumbling/singing ‘Moncika Ca”…He was BAD in english…many years later I understood it …
