Do you have to have a job that causes high blood pressure in order to be successful?

it's not the job that may create HBP, it's how you cope with stress. The higher you go in an organization the more difficult the decisions you have to make. The majority of which involve employees and their jobs. Very difficult decisions. The kind that eat at you because often it isn't a black and white issue.

No, do some yoga, get some meds, chill out. Re-evaluate your stress.

I'm a nurse so job itself can be stressful causing high b/p. When working E.R. you have such a short time to get ready for the next emergency and always have to be on top of your game…Then you have screaming babies, cursing adults..pucking teens…sometimes you wonder why??? Job very stressful and pay not all that great considering what we do…so yeah blood pressure rises…and we just keep smiling..
