Question by sami: Chinese soup caused strange pain in my back and more?
I went to a chinese mangolian restaurant (It is rare that I eat Chinese food)..and ordered Hot and Sour soup..after few minutes of starting with the soup I felt strange pain filling my whole back.. and felt like my blodd is rushing everywhere in my body and my heart strarted to puls really fast…felt the blood in my head..I dont know my whole phisiology changed! this stayed for about 45 minutes then everything went back to normal.
Does anyone has any explanation for all that what happened? Do I have any allergie? is it some ingredient causes “high blod presure? (are these signs of high blod pressure)”?
Ths soup contains: Black mushroom, bamboo, spinach, soya. it is as kind of thik soup. I don’t know if I have missed any ingredient..

The soup probably had MSG, a food enhancing chemical they very commonly put in Chinese food especially, but it may have been something else in they soup that got you. But it did sound like a food allergy. (i work for a Dr. who specializes in food allergies and toxicology.
These are not symptoms of High blood pressure. could have been a spice
