her height is 5′4.
in breakfast she eats 2 pieces of whole wheat bread with a cup of tea
in the afternoon she eats a white tortilla with gravy and meat
for dinner she also eats white tortilla with gravy and meat or potatoes sumtimes.
she is standing most of the time.its part of her job.
she eats fruit
she is takin iron pills these days due to deficieny

As to the causes of high blood pressure there are a lot of various factors that influence blood pressure such as -
Age ( as you get older the risk of high blood pressure increases)
Smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
Obesity, lack of exercise and high amount of salt and fat in your diet.
Stress and family history can also influence blood pressure.
Treatment for high blood pressure will depend on your blood pressure levels and your associated risk of developing a cardiovascular disease, such as a stroke, if your Mothers blood pressure is only slightly high and the risk of cardiovascular disease are low, then there is no need to worry as this is common and can be altered by simply making lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, reducing alcohol intake, reducing caffeine intake to less than five cups a day, eating a healthy low fat balanced diet, taking up regular exercise for 30 minutes per day and losing weight if you are overweight. If your mothers blood pressure is moderately high, her GP can offer treatment which is proven to be effective. so there is No need to worry :)

Your mom needs to reduce her sodium intake (Salt), meaning she should not cook with it or buy heavily salted foods, which can include prepacked meals and snacks. She should include more fruit and vegetables in her diet and get more exercise. Here are some links which can tell more about high blood pressure and how to reduce it.
