Reducing High Blood Pressure is Not Something You Need To Be Afraid of

			By: Paul Filinovich
Posted: Aug 30, 2010

As with most medical conditions similar to hypertension, the problem isn’t finding a solution, it is mustering the inner strength and drive to say no to unsafe behaviors, and to learn new beneficial habits. Hypertension would probably stay safely undeveloped in 90% of the people who are most likely to develop it, if all that was necessary was knowledge.

Some of things folks struggle with when implementing high blood pressure treatments are:

How do you learn to like plain food without even a small amout of salt?
Losing weight is a big dilemma for a considerable amount of people, how will I expect to make it when others can’t?
How does a man or woman, who has a history of addictive tendencies, learn to say no to tobacco?
I can’t even boil water, how can I figure out how to make healthy foods on a daily basis?
If I can’t even find the time to get my chores finished, how do I make time to exercise?

These kinds of things as well as many other have bewildered not just you and I, but thousands of others all through the years. In light of temptations that won’t take no for an answer, most individuals give up trying to retain their grip on a heart healthy diet and way of life.

There have been brief victories that I’m sure we have all experienced. We sometimes find the self-will and become extremely motivated to begin a new lifestyle. This sort of drive is most common around the beginning of the New Year. However this is an impermanent resolution, and eventually we once again crave “the good life.” Everyday life soon settles in and makes it hard to go on without the need to treat ourselves with a little extra something of one sort or another, and the next thing we know we are back to where we began.

So any treatment for an illness such as High blood pressure, that is reliant upon our actions, must address the general predicament of the human condition so as to be successful. Our human will power is similar to a muscle. It will be weak unless it gets exercised. Wishing for will power is like wishing for bodily strength. It must be exercised, and with every small victory we become stronger and stronger.

So do not expect miraculous results right away. Strive to achieve some minor victory in your life that will grant you some capacity for additional growth and then congratulate yourself for the triumph. After that, continue on to face another of your challenges. Before you try to face a big difficulty in your life, such as tobacco or weight reduction, first get a few small accomplishments behind you. This will give you confidence and steam, and will prepare you for those harder challenges.

An example of a moderate problem could be be the tendency to sleep too long. Train yourself to get up on time, and then reward yourself for this success and value the benefits of having extra time to prepare for your day. After you understand that you can win little accomplishments like this, you will be more able to cope with the bigger ones like smoking and dieting.

Finally, it is very important that you don’t hide from your problem. Make yourself conscious of your need for change at each opportunity. Read material concerning it; take note of people who speak of it. You may not be ready to manage the situation this soon, but permit yourself to be exposed to the realities of the implications so that it sticks in your brain. Eventually, your brain will process your necessity to bring about the change, and you WILL acquire the strength to follow through with it. But you cannot continue acting as if it doesn’t exist. Welcome it, acknowledge it, and give it strength by understanding your need for it.

In a lot of ways, Reducing High Blood Pressure is very comparable to acquiring additional talents. Luckily, this aptitude will build up your quality of life over all.

Acid Reflux Food Tips For Controlling Heartburn

Heartburn and acid reflux are to a large extent the result of what kind of diets we adhere to. This becomes obvious when you consider the fact that healthy digestion is due to proper levels of stomach acid. A diet composed of good acid reflux food can limit the amount of these acids, thereby reducing the possibility of reflux. When the stomach acids become increased, they have a greater chance of disabling the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which normally keeps the stomach contents in place.

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 16, 2008

High blood pressure is more treatable than ever before, thanks to a wide variety of lifestyle measures and medications, according to a new study led by Johns Hopkins professor Dr. Lawrence Appel.

These lifestyle measures can not only lower blood pressure, but also reduce the risk of complications from hypertension: stroke, heart attack, heart failure, and kidney disease.

What this new high blood pressure study has shown:

The research shows that the effects of lifestyle changes for treating high blood pressure are additive. Thus, the more you adopt, the greater the benefits.

In a study led by Dr. Lawrence Appel (co-author of the 2008 Johns Hopkins Hypertension and Stroke White Paper), people with pre-hypertension or mild hypertension who lost weight, followed the DASH diet, reduced salt and alcohol intake, and exercised regularly, lowered their systolic blood pressure by an extra 4 mm Hg over a six-month period, compared with people who only received advice on these lifestyle changes.

By making lifestyle adjustments, you’ll also improve the effectiveness of your blood pressure-lowering medication and lower your risk of hypertension complications such as heart attack and stroke.

Many people can keep up the diet and other lifestyle changes that help control hypertension and ward off disease, according to a study in the Annals of Internal Medicine (Volume 144, page 485).

How the high blood pressure study was conducted:

In a study of 810 adults with pre-hypertension or mild hypertension, researchers found that those who underwent a lifestyle overhaul were generally able to maintain the changes during the 18-month study. However, it did take some effort.

Participants had regular counseling sessions on how to incorporate lifestyle changes into their daily routines — which included eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products; cutting down on saturated fat and sodium; getting at least three hours of exercise a week; and, if overweight, trying to shed 15 pounds.

Some participants received only advice on making these lifestyle changes, and they served as the control group. Compared with the advice-only group, those in the counseling group were about one-fifth less likely to have hypertension at the study’s end.

These findings show that with some help, small lifestyle changes can add up to effective results in lowering high blood pressure.

Here’s A SECRET About Your High Blood Pressure That Big Drug Companies Don’t Want You To Know!
Here goes…

“The Smartest, Safest, Cheapest Way To Lower Your High Blood Pressure ISN’T Being Offered To You By The Large Drug Companies Or Local Health Food Store!

(That’s why it’s so hard to uncover this secret!)

“You can LOWER your blood pressure WITHOUT Expensive Medications!”

From: A former, very highly medicated, high blood pressure patient
(click here to read the details about this secret)

I had very high blood pressure. I became aware of my problem when I went to donate blood at the donor clinic. They wouldn’t take my blood because of my hypertension!

My doctor quickly wrote out a prescription to lower my hypertension. It was a type of diuretic. The medication made me feel slow, sluggish, old and tired. I started searching for an alternative. After a lot of surfing and reading I tried a natural herbal supplement to try and get off the pharmaceutical haze. The natural herbal supplement worked, but I had to shell out $65 per month to stay on it.

I talked with a friend who had been dealing with a high blood pressure problem for many years. When I asked him medication or supplements he was on he said, “Nothing!”

My initial reaction was that he was being foolish and ignoring his problem. Then he told me he now maintains a 110 over 80 reading WITHOUT medication. He told me his experiences and gave me a URL to check out.

“The Best Thing Is That This REALLY Works, And It’s The Least Expensive Option!”

I decided to try his recommendation. A handful weeks later I scheduled a doctors appointment and was given a clean bill of health (no more hypertension). I sleep much better knowing I’ve reduced by chances of stroke and heart attack. Best of all, I’m not dependent on heavy pharmaceutical medications with unknown other chemical side effects, don’t have to pay for an expensive monthly supplement, and feel much more confident I’ll be around to see my grandchildren (if that day ever comes!)

Before you spend the rest of your life as a unwilling paying servant to the big pharmaceutical corporations, start buying monthly herbal supplement or “miracle cures”, PLEASE take the time to read all the information on this website.

Here’s the link to the best way I found to reduce your high blood pressure (click here)

Thanks for reading and I wish you great happiness and great health

PS. Don’t just stop taking your hypertension meds. Give this a try, but please consult with your doctor and tell him what you’re doing. Don’t be surprised if he takes you off your high blood pressure medication in a very short period of time. (click here)

Question by ღ Pregnant with #2 It’s a GIRL!!ღ:

What’s causing my muscle pain and joint aches?
Hi, I have not realized when this pain started but it hasn’t been around forever. I think it has started within the last like 3 maybe even 4 months approx but that’s just a guess I’m not really sure. Ok so I’m 20yr female postpartum 5 months and have been having strong muscle and joint pains and aches all over the body. I am currently on 3 different medications: 1.) prozac “antidepressant” side effects can cause joint pain & muscle spasms. Medication #2.) Methyldopa “lowers high blood pressure” side effects can cause muscle and joint pain. Medication #3.) depo-provera injection “contraception injection” side effects can cause muscle & joint pain. I know it is quite obvious that the reasons I’m having these symptoms may very well be from all of these meds but I guess im being concerned because these aches happen most of the time and i keep thinking the worst like i have a serious disease or something…do you think it could be anything serious? Please help! PS I don’t have any STD’s/STI’s so they can’t be the cause just in case you guys might think that. thanks
Is anybody there? lol please answer me! It’s so hard to get people to answer on here.

Best answer:

Answer by Big L 266
I would suggest you need an appointment with a GP again with a view to eliminate the causes of your pain. If as you say all these drugs cause these dreadful symptoms, perhaps a different approach for depression, high blood pressure and contraception should be sought.

If not, is there a possibility you have the onset of arthritis? Some forms of arthritis cause both joint and muscle pain. I firmly believe you need to see your GP asap though. It sounds like some of these pills are causing your unncessary suffering.

All the best and a big cyberhug from me!

New York (PRWEB) November 17, 2006

There are many pharmaceutical options to treat hypertension, but traditionally, treatment options have been limited for those patients who do not respond to drug therapies. Today at the 33rd annual VEITHsymposium™, Dr. Jürg Schmidli, Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Berne and Chief of Vascular Surgery at University Hospital Berne (Switzerland), presented the promising results from an early multi-center trial of the RheosTM system, a revolutionary device that uses one of the body’s natural systems of blood pressure regulation, the baroreflex, to safely lower high blood pressure.

The baroreflex uses neurons called baroreceptors to automatically trigger the brain to lower blood pressure when it is too high. Some of these baroreceptors are located in the carotid sinus, a point of dilation in the carotid arteries of the neck. The RheosTM system is an electrical implant that stimulates the wall of the carotid sinus, triggering the baroreceptors to reduce high blood pressure.

An early ongoing trial conducted by Schmidli’s group implanted the RheosTM system in 16 patients who had a mean blood pressure of 189±29/112±14 mmHg prior to surgery, despite being under maximal antihypertensive multi-drug therapy. All surgeries were technically successful, with no unexpected serious complications or deaths (one device had to be removed because of infection). A month after implantation, the devices were activated. Three months after activation, results for the first 16 patients showed significant decreases in blood pressure, with mean systolic blood pressure levels at 165±21,4 mmHg, and decreases to values as low as 142,1±28,4 mmHg were observed.

“I am very impressed. Now implants in 28 patients confirm these early findings. We are one step further towards vascular surgeons contributing to better blood pressure control in such high risk patients,” said Dr. Schmidli.

These exciting early results suggest that the RheosTM system is a safe, effective means of encouraging the body’s natural systems to regulate blood pressure, and offer new hope to those patients for whom drug therapies have proven ineffective.

About VEITHsymposium™: Now in its fourth decade, VEITHsymposium™ provides vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists and other vascular specialists with a unique and exciting format to learn the most current information about what is new and important in the treatment of vascular disease. The five-day event features 300 rapid-fire presentations from world renowned vascular specialists with emphasis on the latest advances, changing concepts in diagnosis and management, pressing controversies and new techniques.

Reduce High Blood Pressure – No Need for Medication

Are you worried about taking prescriptions to control your blood pressure? If so, it is possible that you can fully avoid the possible side effects associated with many of the medications often prescribed to reduce high blood pressure. Here are a few methods you might want to consider before you fill that prescription.

The most important thing for you to do to reduce high blood pressure is to leave sodium out of your diet. You probably already know this, but do you know why? Sodium makes the body hold on to the fluids, such as water. This excess fluid being stored in your body causes the heart to work harder to pump the blood to your organs.

Look at the labels when you go to the grocery store. Try to avoid low salt and low sodium products. Instead look for the substitutes for salt. You will be surprised when you realize what is out there that can really add new flavor to your foods.

Caffeine is also a culprit in raising blood pressure levels. If you must have that morning cup of coffee, you should switch to decaffeinated coffee. If you notice you begin to have headaches when you switch to decaf coffee you should switch to lite coffee. This has caffeine in it, but in a smaller amount. Slowly and gradually reduce the caffeine in your coffee until you are drinking only decaf.

If you are overweight, you already know that it is important for your overall health to begin shedding the pounds. However, it is vital that you lose the weight to reduce the strain on your heart. As the weight begins to come off your blood pressure should begin to reduce itself.

Exercise regularly and gradually increase the intensity of your workout. Make sure your doctor approves of the exercise regimen you will be doing. Take it slow at first. Do not over do yourself. If you do, it is likely that you will be sore and reluctant to continue exercising.

Stop smoking and drinking. These have very ill effects on the body and even worse effects on the heart and blood pressure. If you need assistance quitting smoking or drinking speak with your doctor for some assistance.

It is likely that you can naturally reduce high blood pressure by taking advantage of the tips given to you here. However, before you begin listening to the advice of anyone, you should discuss your thoughts with your doctor. He or she will be able to best direct you in reducing your blood pressure without the need for medications.

How Natural Cures Help Reduce High Blood Pressure

Do you take alpha blockers, ace inhibitors or other prescriptions for hypertension? You should learn how natural cures can help reduce high blood pressure. Prescription medications can cause a host of unwanted side effects! Here is some information that should interest those of you who have been diagnosed with hypertension.

Let’s talk about the commonly prescribed drugs first. Most of these do not treat the underlying cause of your condition, and many can make matters worse. Some of the side effects they can cause are headache, nausea and dizziness. Most are synthetic and can adversely affect internal organs such as your liver! Just a few more reasons to consider natural methods.

Here are a few tips that will help you decide if using natural cures to help reduce your high blood pressure may be something you want to consider.

1. Foods can help. Adding foods that contain potassium and magnesium will help reduce hypertension when combined with other methods. Bananas, celery, beans – these are just a few of the foods that are effective. There are many more!

2. Reduce stress. You know that being stressed out can raise your blood pressure. In fact, high stress levels are one of the leading factors that contribute to hypertension. Special exercises, deep breathing and meditation can help remedy stress.

3. Exercise. This is very important when you are on a blood pressure reduction program. Walking is a good choice. Simply walking for 20 minutes a day will make a difference.

4. Herbs. There are several herbal supplements that are as effective as prescription drugs for maintaining a normal reading. An added benefit – herbs do treat the underlying cause of your condition.

This is just a very short list of steps you can take to lower your readings using natural methods.

It is a very smart decision to make if you decide to try natural cures for your high blood pressure. Not only will you be treating your hypertension, your total health will also improve. You will notice a substantial difference in cholesterol and diabetes symptoms.

You truly don’t need prescription drugs to help reduce high blood pressure! Why risk your health, when there are so many effective remedies that are totally natural?

Learn more about natural cures for high blood pressure, and how you can lower your readings quickly by reading The High Blood Pressure Remedy Report – it could save your life.

Diet to Reduce High Blood Pressure- a Natural Hypertension Treatment With No Medication

Can a diet to reduce high blood pressure really cure hypertension with no medication? Yes and most people are unaware that their diet has an enormous impact on their high blood pressure points. In fact, you can naturally cure high blood pressure naturally with changing your diet, taking the correct vitamins, supplements, and minerals, and learning various exercises (including breathing techniques you can do anywhere).

Unfortunately, to the patient’s demise, doctors always recommend a variety of medications to reduce high blood pressure. Whether the medication is synthetically widening the arteries or slowing the heart rate, medications are only hiding the true problem of high blood pressure… build up in your arteries!

Choosing to a Natural Cure

The biggest mistake you can make is to naively take high blood medication the rest of your life. Millions do and the side-effects can be annoying after the first few months, not to mention the next 20+ years.

Though natural health, also called holistic treatments, have had their fair share of skeptics. It might be surprising that research in the last 10 years has actually proved some of the oldest remedies.

For instance, one of the most important nutrients for your body when it comes to treating high blood pressure is potassium. However, diuretics (a high blood pressure medication) can flush potassium as well as sodium from the body. Researchers at Duke University found that getting more potassium could lower blood pressure by as many as 20 points for people most at risk for high blood pressure.

A Diet to Reduce High Blood Pressure

Here are 10 simple dieting tips to lower your score in weeks!

1. High Fiber Breakfast- Eat cereals with at least 5 grams of fiber. A good fiber cereal will also make a great snack during the day. Purchase some baggies to make it more convenient.

2. Beans- Beans are an excellent source of both fiber and protein. You can purchase them raw or canned. Try adding beans to soups and salads.

3. Fruits and Vegetables- These are loaded with water-soluble fiber which will naturally flush cholesterol, toxins and even plaque. Brightly colored fruits and veggies contain phytochemicals which are also extremely beneficial.

4. Nuts- Nuts contain monounsaturated fats. Eat them instead of chips and snack crackers that contain saturated and Trans fats.

5. Oils- Always use oils that come from plants. Olive, sunflower, and safflower oils are great instead of butter.

6. Fish- Fish usually contain omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids have been documented as the heart-healthy fatty acid. Salmon is always a good choice!

7. Whole Grain Breads- You should finally make the switch from white to wheat. It is always extremely important to eat whole-grain and fiber-rich bread products. Eat bread that contains at least 3 grams of dietary fiber per slice.

8. Meats- Choose leaner cuts for meats. It might be also a good idea to choose game meats such as elk, deer, bison or ostrich. Typically game meats are leaner which means less fat and less cholesterol.

9. Poultry- Poultry is always a good option for meat! However, you should always pass on the skin.

10. Dairy- Reduced and nonfat dairy products will reduce the cholesterol and plaque levels. If you are a milk drinker, you can shave a few points in weeks by switching to skim.

Normalize Your Blood Pressure in Days

Before you purchase those expensive prescriptions again, have you considered what 3 minerals have been shown to naturally normalize your blood pressure? Did you know that breathing exercises can increase oxygen levels and normalize your score?

Discover a Natural Hypertension Treatment that works in days and guarantees to normalize your score. If you are interested in a step by step natural remedy report, please visit us today. We also offer a free HBP quiz that could help you see why you might be more prone to hypertension

Park Ridge, IL (PRWEB) December 29, 2005

Hypertension or high blood pressure is fast becoming a great concern for society. When most people are initially told they have high blood pressure, it comes as quite a shock. Part of the problem is that it has no early symptoms. Most people feel good and do not notice any problems. Yes, you may be a little unfit and you could eat better, but generally you feel fine.

If you are lucky, you’ll get a warning. Some people will have dizzy spells whilst for others the early warning comes as a mild heart attack. If you are one of the lucky ones who make it through the warning, please do not take it lightly.

Hypertension is part of the collective term “Cardiovascular Disease”. Cardiovascular Disease encompasses high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart failure, and stroke. Hypertension is the biggest killer in the western world with 696,947 deaths in 2002 in the US alone. Getting on top of high blood pressure early can make all the difference in the world.

7 Tips for Reducing High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)

High Blood Pressure can be reduced significantly and quickly by making minor but consistent adjustments to your lifestyle. Until then, these simple guidelines should be followed:

1. Have regular medical checks, especially if you are over 40, overweight, smoke, or lead an inactive lifestyle.

2. Start a regular exercise regimen. Obtain medical clearance prior to starting an exercise program.

3. Your exercise program should be gradual, consistent and aerobic in nature (walking/cycling). Start by walking 5 days per week, for 10-20 minutes. Something as simple as walking 10 minutes per day can reduce blood pressure to the extent where medication is no longer required!

4. Give up smoking (or at least cut down!). Giving up smoking has been proven to be the greatest single factor in improving your health quickly and efficiently.

5. Eliminate salt from your diet. Salt increases blood pressure and increases fluid retention.

6. Focus on your breathing throughout any lifting or stretching as holding your breath will increase blood pressure.

7. Don’t use pulse rate as a direct measure of exercise intensity if blood pressure medications are being used, as these can decrease pulse rate significantly.

High blood pressure does not have to be a death sentence. Give it the respect it deserves and it just may turn out to be a positive turning point — the start of a new (fit and healthy) you.

(PRWEB) April 21, 2010

Americans consume on average 3300 mg of sodium/day — significantly more than the recommended 2400 mg/day and twice the 1500 mg/day level suggested to reduce high blood pressure. Today almost 50% of the 76 million baby boomers have hypertension. A lower sodium intake is not only effective in directly reducing blood pressure, but it may also enhance the effectiveness of high blood pressure medications and other non-drug treatments, such as weight loss. Reduced sodium consumption has also been associated with a reduced risk of dying from a stroke, reversal of heart enlargement, and a reduced risk of kidney stones and osteoporosis.

Even consumers looking to limit sodium are looking for savory snacking items and tasty cereal. Zumbro River Brand, contract manufacturer of snacks and cereals, has developed two new snack and cereal bases with minimal sodium – Ancient Grains Puffs with no appreciable sodium/28 g serving and Whey/Multigrain Scoops with 30 mg of sodium/28g serving. The Whey/Multigrain base also provides 13 mg of protein/28g per serving with both the benefit of low sodium and that of significant protein for muscle building and weight loss plans.

Both of these snacking bases can be flavored with Low Sodium Tomato Basil seasoning to provide 80 mg of sodium/28 g serving for the Ancient Grains Base and 100 mg of sodium/28 g serving for the Whey/Multigrain Base. These same bases can be used in cereal applications with minimal sodium content. Zumbro River Brand can produce and package these snacks on a custom basis for distribution under your label.

Zumbro River Brand has a development team ready to help you design your low sodium snack or cereal. Please contact Hal Volkman at 507-446-9097 ext 103 or Ginny Busch 507-446-9097 ext 102. www.zumbroriverbrand.com

Smoking Cessation To Reduce High Blood Pressure

Did your doctor recently diagnose you to have high blood pressure? Treating hypertension or high blood pressure is very important since this condition can lead to heart attack and stroke. Now, you can reduce high blood pressure using these various ways.

When a person is diagnosed with hypertension, doctors usually prescribe anti-hypertensive drugs in order to control blood pressure. In fact, there are so many different kinds of anti-hypertensive drugs like angiotensin II receptor blockers, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, diuretics, and more. These medications are indeed effective in lowering blood pressure although patients usually complain about the side effects.

Like any kind of synthetic medication, anti-hypertensive drugs do have side effects like diarrhea, dizziness, heartbeat changes, vomiting, and others. Being able to tolerate the side effects is needed for patients to follow the drug therapy. Unfortunately, some hypertensive people just cannot tolerate the side effects of anti-hypertensive drugs which prompts them to look for other approaches to control blood pressure. And the good news is that there are certain methods that have been proven to help in reducing high blood pressure which do not cause side effects.

decrease your salt intake. Remember that how much sodium you consume per day can increase your risk of getting hypertension. For health reasons, people should limit their salt intake to 2,300 milligrams per day. Only 1,500 milligrams of salt must be consumed by hypertensive people every day. When buying food, always look at the nutritional facts and check the sodium content. You must only buy products with a Daily Value of sodium that is 5% or less. Never decide to buy foods with a Daily Value of sodium that is 20% or more.

Increased consumption of fruits and vegetables that are high in fiber, magnesium, and potassium. Studies have established these nutrients as efficacious in controlling blood pressure. Fruits and vegetables that are high in these nutrients are fat-free yogurt, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach, squash, raisins, potatoes, pineapples, oranges, melons, mangoes, lima beans, grapes, grapefruit, green peas, green beans, carrots, broccoli, bananas, apricots, apples, and a lot more.

Smoking cessation. Smoking is another established risk factor of high blood pressure. Cigarette smoke contains nicotine which causes blood vessel damage, increased clotting of blood, increased heart rate and blood pressure, and decreased oxygen going to the heart.

Get your body active. Having a sedentary lifestyle is another established risk factor of high blood pressure. To lower your risk or to help control your hypertension, put in at least 30 minutes of exercise into your daily routine. Some forms of aerobic exercises that you can definitely do are swimming, walking, cycling, brisk walking, jogging, and others.

These are just some proven effective ways to reduce high blood pressure. And there are still more methods like stress reduction, yoga, meditation, supplementation, deep breathing, and a lot more. If you definitely want to control your high blood pressure without suffering the side effects brought about by anti-hypertensive drugs, you need to know and apply the different natural methods in order to reduce high blood pressure.

Have you been on anti-hypertensive medicines for so many years now?
Understanding how to reduce blood pressure is not nearly as difficult as many people seem to think. There are several steps you will need to take in order to reduce your blood pressure.

These steps often can be a little challenging when you first start to implement them. However, in time you will no longer struggle with your lifestyle changes, they will seem like a second nature.

First and foremost, you need to lose weight if you are overweight. By being overweight you are allowing yourself to stress your heart, muscles and joints. Reducing the weight will greatly reduce your blood pressure and increase your energy levels.

Sometimes it might be necessary for you to seek professional help in lowering your stress. However, you might want to try using meditation or yoga first if your doctor feels it is safe for you to do so.

If you are normally a drinker, it is time for you to stop. Alcohol is damaging to your entire body. It is proven to be an issue that causes your blood pressure to elevate. Some doctors will allow you to consume moderate amounts of alcohol on an occasion. However, before you consider having a drink, it is best for you to have the approval of your doctor.

The final method to reduce high blood pressure that will be discussed is medications. There are several different medications that your doctor can prescribe to treat your high blood pressure. Depending on the severity of your high blood pressure will weigh greatly and heavily on the medications you are suggested to take.

In most cases your doctor will suggest you begin a combination of these methods to help you in reducing your blood pressure. Now that you have the basic idea of how to reduce high blood pressure you have no excuse not to get started. Even if you have no been diagnosed with having high blood pressure it can be very beneficial for your overall health to begin eating healthier, exercising and losing those extra few pounds that have been hanging around.

Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) December 31, 2008

Many people dream of entrepreneurship, but taking the first step towards realizing this dream is oftentimes a challenge many put off. One couple has realized their dream of becoming entrepreneurs out of necessity in a down market.

When Dana Krals’s real estate career came to a halt, and Andy Krals’s construction sales job ran aground, the husband and wife team decided to analyze their options and open their hearts to what they really wanted to be doing.

The two had designed a drug-free blood pressure control program a few years prior to the market crash, but hadn’t pursued it because of their commitment to their careers. With their newfound free time, the pair got to work and launched Green Line, LLC, a company that specializes in all-natural life improvement products.

Their first product, “Lower Blood Pressure Drug Free: Guided Breathing for Low Blood Pressure,” is an audio series created to help listeners lower their blood pressure naturally. The program is clinically proven to be 82% effective with results as high as 36 systolic and 20 diastolic arterial blood pressure. Beyond reducing high blood pressure, users also report better sleep and reduced anxiety and stress.

“There is a lot of stress and anxiety in this economic downtown, and we thought now would be the perfect time to launch our product to help others,” said Andy Krals, President of Green Line. “We are actually happy to have been laid-off. Now we get emails from people telling us how much our program has improved their lives. We never used to get emails like that in our old jobs.”

“Lower Blood Pressure Drug Free: Guided Breathing for Low Blood Pressure” is available through LowBPdrugFree.com and amazon.com for .95 hardcopy or .95 downloadable version.

Are you health conscious??? If you have a better idea to reduce high blood pressure, let us know, your views and comments will be appreciated. High blood pressure, commonly known as Hypertension/arterial hypertension is a state of body in which blood pressure in your body is chronically increased. In this techno world, hypertension is the most common disease, people are becoming careless and life has become so fast that very few of us are truly health conscious. With digitization of world, moving towards automation from manual systems, fast food has become way of life. Truth is that today we are not able to intake fresh food – vegetables and fruits that we consume all have high concentration of chemicals and pesticides that indirectly affect our health. But in case you are unaware about blood pressure then this is the right time to have a better understanding about blood pressure. Blood pressure also known as vascular pressure relates to the force applied by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels. In medical terms, it can be defined as the force of the blood pushing against the walls of the arteries.

The important factor to note is that every time your heart beats, it impels out blood into the arteries. The heart which acts as a vital muscular pump applies the pressure to circulate the blood throughout the body. The blood vessels called arteries have resilient walls and so provide some resistance during the flow of blood. Thus, there is pressure in the system, even between heartbeats. Blood pressure alters during the day and it gets lower when you sleep and rises when you get up. It may rise when you are excited or tensed.

Now, blood pressure is calculated in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) and BP reading below 120/80 mmHg is considered normal. However, BP of 140/90 mmHg or higher is measured arterial hypertension and commonly known as “Silent Killer”. Any individual with arterial hypertension can be very dangerous and is one of major risk factors for Stroke, Heart Attack or Kidney Damage. Moreover, hypertension is the next major threat for congestive heart failure. In congestive heart failure the pumping power of heart gets lowered, beating gets harder and harder and as a result heart losses its ability to pump sufficient blood to meet up the body’s requirements. In addition to this high BP can also lead to burst of eyes blood vessels. Therefore it becomes very important to control high BP.

The frequency of people suffering from high BP increases naturally with age and can be often related to lifestyle habits. Ayurvedic health care acts as anti-hypertensive for maintaining pressure of blood in your body. These days most doctors advise patients to re-establish your BP 80/120 level by making changes in lifestyle. Some of the natural and effective ways to bring down rising pressure of blood are:

1. Reduce salt intake: Now it is very important to understand that high consumption of salt is directly linked to high blood pressure. Commit yourself to consume not more than 2,000 milligrams of sodium per day, which estimates around 1 teaspoon of salt. You can lower your sodium intake by eating less processed and fast foods.

2. Quit smoking: The nicotine in cigarettes makes your blood vessels to compress and heart to beat faster, which automatically results in raising your blood pressure. If you are a smoker then make sure to quit smoking. By quitting you can keep your blood pressure in line and this in turn helps in reducing the threat of cardiovascular disease.

3. Reduce your extra body weight: Make sure your body weight does not exceed; it should be proportionate to your height. As per recent studies it has been proved that high blood pressure has a direct link to overweight. The more weight you have, higher is the chance of having high blood pressure. Keeping weight off is one of the most vital tactics for calculating blood pressure. Even losing a pound in a week can be a noteworthy step in the right direction.

4. Limit alcohol consumption: This is one of the most important ways to reduce high blood pressure. It is important to understand; in case of healthy people alcohol does not cause hypertension while in some it does not. If you drink alcohol try to have limited consumption 1 or 2 drinks per day. If your blood pressure rises with alcohol, it is better to avoid drinking alcohol.

5. Do exercise regularly: Regular exercise helps in lowering your blood pressure. It further helps in lowering cholesterol, and stress management. Perform any activity that you enjoy like walking, jogging, or swimming. Initially start your work-out slowly and then work your way up to 30-60 minute sessions of moderate exercise each week. Then, slowly begin aerobic exercise into your daily life; increase the time and intensity at a speed and try for at least 30-minute workout in most days of the week.

According to recent studies the ratio of high blood pressure is increasing day by day and because it does not show any symptoms most of the nearly don’t know they have high blood pressure. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to various disease so have proper medical check up and normal blood pressure to live a healthy life. Healthy lifestyle is key of maintain your blood pressure, give away your tension.
